A group of promoters in the Port of Spain plan to write letters to State-owned Telecommunications Services of Trinidad and Tobago (TSTT) asking to withdraw it sponsorship from Beyonce’s February 18, 2010 tour. They say her presence will disrupt and take funding away from Carnival activities(a very important even in latin culture). 

“Bringing Beyonce at this time puts more pressure on the industry,” said Fernandes, adding “Carnival activity is a very high risk and a lot of bands suffer high losses”.

He also went on to say the concert cost in the vicinity would cost TT$10 Million (US$1.4 million)

The Recording Industry Association of Trinidad is also raising objection to the concert.

“The State making a $10 million investment to stage an artiste like Beyonce in Trinidad and Tobago is a very large investment,” said RIATT general secretary Fabien Alphonso in a press statement.

Tom Cruise has been caught performing Beyoncé’s dance from her “Single Ladies” video, according to reports.
The Top Gun star was in attendance at the singer’s recent concert at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, says People.
The 47-year-old reportedly arrived for the show without wife Katie Holmes, who is filming horror movie Don’t Be Afraid Of The Dark in Australia.
Cruise apparently waved to fans as he took to his seat, before singing along and dancing throughout the entire performance.
“Everyone was laughing and taking pictures,” one concertgoer said.

The tickets were distributed as a way to help people suffering in the current economic crisis. Four hours before the giveaway began there was a line of people stretched around the building. WWJ’s Pat Sweeting reports some people were disappointed that they stood in line but didn’t get any tickets. Executives with the agency say they told people in line they only had 1,400 tickets to give away and some people wouldn’t get them.Another 1,100 tickets were expected to be distributed among Wayne Metropolitan Community Action Agency, Youthville, Oakland Family Services, and Community Housing Network. Those groups also were going to distribute the tickets to the local community, with each organization extending invitations to families they serve.

BEYONCE has reportedly ordered snappers not to photograph her from behind on her current world tour – because she sweats so much.
The Crazy In Love hitmaker is wowing crowds on her I Am…Sasha Fierce global jaunt, but her dance routines are so energetic she is left dripping wet afterwards.
So she has demanded photographers only shoot from certain angles to preserve her modesty, according to the New York Daily News.
A source tells the publication, “Beyonce’s costumes are so tiny and her choreography is so complicated that inevitably she sweats. It looks pretty gross, so no one is allowed to shoot her from that particular angle any more.”

Sigh. Yes, she is planning on making another movie. According to this article, on a break during her UK leg of the tour, she saw the play version of “the sister act”, and has asked her representative to contact Disney for a remake, starring who else,her.Now i know disney has their fair share of “disney sluts”, including,but not limited to, Adrienne baillon, miley cyrus, vanessa hudgens,etc. Now we can add beyonce to the list!

Singer Beyoncé Knowles has interrupted one of her concerts in order to help a fan to propose to his girlfriend.

The popstar paused during her performance of ‘Single Ladies/Put A Ring On It’ during a concert in Florida.

The stadium was then plunged into darkness, while Beyoncé said to the crowd: “I need a light… I’m not sure if production knows about this, but Lindell has something he wants to sing.”

She then handed her microphone over to the fan, who said: “Beyoncé, you told me if I like it, I need to put a ring on it.”

He then got on one knee and proposed to his girlfriend, who accepted to a loud cheer from the audience.
