According to the Washington Post Etta James was once again acting strange over her “feud” with Beyonce.

“Y’all know where Beyoncé is?” demanded Etta James on Saturday night at the Birchmere. The septuagenarian sexpot is still cranky that the 27-year-old one-namer who portrayed her in the film “Cadillac Records” got to sing “At Last” for the president and the first lady back in January.
The Artist Formerly Known as Jamesetta Hawkins didn’t write the song and wasn’t the first to record it, but she defined it.

I think Etta just needs to stop making any reference to Beyonce now. No matter what she says, it is going to be taken out of context. Just leave the B word out of ya mouth Etta.

Singer Etta James says she was just joking when she told a Seattle concert crowd she “can’t stand” Beyoncé and poked fun of President Obama. James tells New York’s Daily News, “I didn’t really mean anything. Even as a little child, I’ve always had that comedian kind of attitude. …That’s probably what went into it.”
She added that the crowd liked it, so she kept on rolling. “Nobody was getting mad at me in Seattle. They were all laughing, and it was funny.” She said the jokes were “not from a vicious place.”
But James did admit she was miffed about not being invited to perform her signature song for Obama’s first dance with his wife on inauguration night. James was “feeling left out of something that was basically mine, that I had done every time you look around,” she said. And while she said she liked Beyoncé’s performance, when asked if she thought she could have done better, James answered, “I think so. That’s a shame to say that.”

Sorry but she was NOT joking! She just realised what a media frenzy it had caused and was about to wreck the end of her career. If it wasnt for Beyonce…no one would be hearing from her now..lets be real… KMT

Word has it that Beyonce spent all day crying her eyes out about Etta James ripping her to shreds about singing her song. B’s reps are declining to comment, but folks say she barely wanted to show her face yesterday and her feelings are extra hurt. I also hear that Etta called Beyonce greedy, her dad pushy, and said she always wants to be in the spotlight. And the original Diva no likey that ish. The verbal catfight continues….
