As the New Year begun I couldn’t help but wonder about Kelly Rowland and her career. As you should know by now she is set to release her first solo album since departing from Pimp Daddy Knowles and MWE. It can be argued that she should’ve left him years ago. Kelly, Michelle, nor anyone else who is signed to MWE obviously doesn’t get as much promo or attention as Beyonce. Even in the DC days we could tell that Beyonce was the center of attention. She was doing all the leads and getting majority credit for all the work. But why wasn’t Kelly getting any credit or as many lead parts as Bey when she is equally as talented if not more.

Kelly is now free to do what she wants and can be creative as she wants. She no longer has to worry about anyone holding her back for the interest of someone else. She hopefully no longer will have to worry about promotion. There is one problem though, Beyonce is rumored to be releasing an album later this year. If true will this be another attempt to hold Kelly back?

A group of promoters in the Port of Spain plan to write letters to State-owned Telecommunications Services of Trinidad and Tobago (TSTT) asking to withdraw it sponsorship from Beyonce’s February 18, 2010 tour. They say her presence will disrupt and take funding away from Carnival activities(a very important even in latin culture). 

“Bringing Beyonce at this time puts more pressure on the industry,” said Fernandes, adding “Carnival activity is a very high risk and a lot of bands suffer high losses”.

He also went on to say the concert cost in the vicinity would cost TT$10 Million (US$1.4 million)

The Recording Industry Association of Trinidad is also raising objection to the concert.

“The State making a $10 million investment to stage an artiste like Beyonce in Trinidad and Tobago is a very large investment,” said RIATT general secretary Fabien Alphonso in a press statement.

Rumor has it that Beyonce and Usher were flirting at the New Years Party in St. bart where Beyonce also performed. Jay Z alledgly went off on his wife.

This is a rumor I wouldn’t put aside. I always thought that Usher and Bey were together. Honestly I think the Make a better couple.

Beyonce made a cameo at Usher’s Concert where they did a lot of grinding on stage.

Usher and Baby Face payed tribute and gave Destinys Child a Lap Dance at the World Music Awards. Usher seemed to keep all his attention on Beyonce.

Usher Presented Beyonce with “International Artist Award” at American Music Awards. He seemed kind of nervous presenting her especially because Jay Z was there. also said said that “she has a smile that can light up an entire room.”

Beyonce and Usher did “Love in this Club Part 2″ duet. The Song basically talks about two people who are already in a relationship with someone else getting it in with each other. Beyonce says, “I got a man you got a lady.” usher was with his Ex-Wife at the time and Beyonce was and still is with Jay Z. So that song could have some truth to it.

Everytime USher is around Beyonce he is always smiling.

Jay-Z and Beyonce are set to add wedding planning to their resume – the supercouple has offered to organise British pop star Robbie Willams’ nuptials to girlfriend Ayda Field. Williams reportedly proposed to the American actress over the holiday period – and Jay-Z is already volunteering to plan the lavish ceremony, with the help of his superstar wife.

He says, ‘I would be happy to help Robbie organise his wedding. I am sure he will make it an extravagant party. I had my 40th last month in the Dominican Republic. That would be a great place for Robbie’s wedding. It’s the most stunning place on earth. It has everything – beautiful beaches, scenery, golf courses – and is easy to fly guests to.
The entertainment at my party was all hot and if Robbie wants my help he should come over for dinner and Bey (Beyonce) and I can help him out. She is great at organising parties, she loves it.’

Lady GaGa recently talked about the video for video phone.

“I’m in the middle of writing the treatment for the video so I have the song on my mind and I have been speaking with everyone that I’m working on the video with and pitching to everybody the treatment that I’ve come up with and it’s very, very exciting. So to all my little monsters who are listening I cant wait for you to see it.”

Beyonce was recently spotted at the album release Party for Alicia key’s new album “Elements of Freedom”. It looks like she is having a great time, but why is  she dancing by herself?

Beyonce’s Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It) has been voted best music video of the decade. The choreography in the black-and-white video sparked a dance craze and has been parodied by the likes of Justin Timberlake, Barack Obama, and the Jonas Brothers. It sparked over 100 million views on youtube, setting a record for music videos with the most views.

Is it me or is Lady GaGa completely blind at what Beyonce is doing?

Beyonce knows that she won’t just be able to knock GaGa off the map, so she is doing everything she can to try to upstage her.

Not only is Beyonce the top nominee contender at the show, she is also performing. It hasn’t been announced what she will perform yet, but it will most likely be a ballad.

My name is Linda and I am a huge Beyonce Fan.  I love her to death, and it urks my nerves when bitches like you put in so much effort hating on the Queen B. Why do are you so biased against her?

Well, Linda thank you for your email. I will try to be as nice as possible when answering this question okay.

First of all I don’t hate Beyonce. i just think some of her practices are straight up wrong. Yes, Beyonce is great singer and a wonderful live performer. But, as a blogger I feel that I have a right to my opinion just as you do. And I feel Beyonce is faker than that nappy lace front she is always rockin. She is doing everything in her power to make sure no one else has a fair chance. There are about 10 other people signed to her record label Music World Entertainment and none of them get the same promotion she gets. I bet you haven’t even heard of any them with the exception of Michelle. Also, Beyonce is a fraud. She claims to write songs she has wrote. And she’ll even tell stories about how she was on the beach and an idea came to her. Beyonce has been caught lying on several occasions. But stans are to obsessed with this woman to realize it. 

Secondly, I think the word Bitch is strong. No woman should be called that word no matter how much you hate them. Next time think before you try to disrespect me for criticizing Beyonce.

According to recent reports Beyonce is in talks with Wynn Las Vegas to sign a deal to headline her own gig. She reportedly bought in Big Dough for the resort and they are anxious to have her back. The contract is also reported to be a 3 year contract.

Well I am here to say. Thank God!!! It is time for her to get out of the lime light and take a break. People are getting tired of her ass and Vegas is usally where people go when there careers start to fade. WOMP WOMP WOMP!!
