LeToya Luckett is doing it big. She snatched a Multi-Million dollar endorsement deal with Luster from Keyshia Cole who was being greedy and demanding more money.

DCRumors: How does is feel to replace Keyshia Cole? Remember you have experienced being replaced yourself in the past.

LeToya: “As opposed to what you are referring to I am definitely an upgrade. I look better than Keyshia so it was a easy choice for Luster. You know 5 million dollars is less money than the 8 million that Ms Cole was asking but I’ll take that money! I got my Say My Name paychecks still coming every week so I didn’t really need that but there’s this new car I wanna buy for my brother so I said sure why not”.

LeToya now feels confident to kill to birds with one stone. She is DUMPING her lame ass records label Capital Records and follows Alicia Keys’s path by kissing good bye MBK Management. However, she didn’t reveal yet who would be her new home.

DCR: Why are you leaving your label and management?

LeToya: “You know I’m a very talented girl. I shit on all dem other bitches out there. listen to my song “Single” to understand what I mean. I got that “IT” factor and the new people at my label just didnt get that. I have so much potential. I got the voice, the look, I can dance my ass off, I got fans. I got the whole package you know. My last album could’ve been triple platinum but they just fucked up my whole project. Even my first album could have been double Diamond if they didn’t mess up. Only a new team can make me reach that Lady GaGa status. And that’s definitely not Crapital.

DCR: Can you tell us what label are you going to join?

LeToya: “No”

LeToya has stated that she is working on her 3rd studio album, meanwhile here is a new song called “Single” where she’s features on. I must admit that it is really good.
In the midst of Kelly’s upcoming album and Beyonce’s “break”, it seems safe to say they’re all trying to make their solo mark before the big reunion.

Looks like BET still got a problem with LeToya. We all remember what happened last year and we are wondering what’s keeping them from giving LeToya her props AGAIN this year. BET revealed 2010′s nominees/performers last week but unless my vision is fading hard, LeToya’s name is nowhere to be seen. We’re not sure this time if Mathew is behind this because we know that he’s trying to set-up a reunion. However, I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s only interested in LeToya just to use her in Destiny’s Child for press and wow factor but that in reality he’d still want to make sure she fails as a solo artist.

What’s intriguing is that LeToya had a pretty good year with the highly acclaimed album Lady Love, considered one of the best R&B album of the year by the majority and the success of her single “Regret”. The anthem hit the Hot 100 and was a solid Urban hit. “She Ain’t Got” was also pretty popular too because of the Matt Kemp/LeToya/Rihanna love-triangle drama. The video is about to hit 1 million views on Youtube. Her movie “Preacher’s Kid” did very well in theaters and is now selling like hotcakes on DVD/itunes. And now she’s about to be in that movie with Ashton Kutcher called “Killers“.

The girl has been working hard and making moves but yet BET is failing to acknowledge the success of one of the most influential black woman of the year. She was one of the most active this year but they’re not letting her perform her hit with Ludacris, let alone give her a single nomination at all,  when mind you, other artists that hasn’t released an album since 2008 get nominated, if you catch my drift. LeToya could be the next Gabrielle Union in the Hollywood business but yet BET isn’t supporting our community and potential rising stars, they rather nominate some stupid piece of shit like Justin Beeber.

This is pretty usual for these BET fools to “forget” about LeToya. In 2006, “Torn” was a #1 hit for months and the album was #1 as well and sold platinum but BET thought that wasn’t good enough to reward.

Who said they hate each other? The good buddies LeToya and Kelly Rowland were spotted together last night at the E! 20 years celebration! This is the first time in 10 years we are seeing them together publicly. I’m telling you, reunion is in the making!

Kelly Rowland‘s track is an average cut that will be on her new album to be released this fall. The album will obviously be a dance album which I’m not digging at all. 2/5

LeToya‘s track “One time” is a reject from her “Lady Love” album sessions. While being a generic R&B song, it is clearly understandable why it didn’t make the cut. This is the only average track I have ever heard from her. Her songs are usually from great to amazing so it’s quite weird to hear something that “isn’t hot” from her. 2.5/5

… has also leaked us information that he is in talks with current and ex members of Destiny’s Child trying to make a reunion. Here is what they had to say:

“Mathew is currently in talks with some members of the Destiny’s Child group.  LeToya and LaTavia have both been asked back to a reunion that will see them take to the stage for one last song. There is no talks of an album but may release one single and go on tour, much like the reunion of the Spice Girls.

Unfortunately, Farrah is a grey area for the girls. They did not have the best of relationships while she was in the group and Farrah hardly made a mark on the world before she left.  Mathew is hoping she will be forgotten and the main members Beyonce, Kelly, Michelle, LaTavia and LeToya will form once more.  However, Farrah has not been completely ruled out.

You may have seen LeToya becoming closer with Michelle and Kelly due to the recent talks. She is seen as the link to ensure LaTavia also joins as she has shyed away from the lime light in recent years.  LaTavia was supposed to release her memoirs but talks of a reunion have put these on hold so as not to damage any future talks with Music World Ent. It doesnt surprise me Mathew is going for a more Spice Girl reunion feel. A full album with such strong artists who have made their names no,  in their own right might not bode so well…. “There was a time after Destiny’s Child broke up, when I was out of the spotlight. I was trying to figure out what to do. I wasn’t sure if I wanted to do music again — be in a group or go solo. Actually, the thought of going solo was very scary to me. I didn’t think I could do it and would get mad when people told me I should record an album by myself.

I wasn’t upset about losing a chance to go to the Grammy’s or any celebrity perks. It was the loss of the friendship that was difficult. That was the hardest part of the separation. These girls [Beyoncé, Kelly Rowland, LaTavia Roberson] were my friends from elementary school. We went to church together, we hung out together.

To go from that to sitting across from each other in a courtroom and going through all that law stuff, was just crazy. You just kind of look at each other differently. That’s when I realized that the friendship had died. Figuring out how we were going to split assets and profits and all of that felt like a divorce. Right after the break up, I went to stay with my friend in Atlanta who had me in church Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. I was developing my relationship with God. It helped me understand that I didn’t create my path. I wasn’t stressing, I wasn’t worrying. I was just praying and letting Him reveal what he had for me.

God is so amazing. Recently, I ran into Kelly and we got to catch up briefly. It was one of those things where you never know how the other person is going to react. But it was relaxed. I think we’ve both gotten to the age where it’s like, Girl please! She even hit me up the other day to let me know she was traveling. I would love to have a close friendship again, but that’s on God’s time. ”
